Hi
Mike,
Same
story over here, I'm developing my first OO-CFC app and I would appreciate a
sneak-peek into your code.
Thanks
and regards from switzerland

Mike:
I'd be happy to take a look at your code. I'm also developing my
first "OO via CFC" CF app, it would be interesting to see if we've gleaned the
same concept of "best practices" from the community.
You can send it to [EMAIL PROTECTED].

Subject: [CFCDev] Could someone look at my code please?
Last week, I proudly and boldly (and perhaps foolishly) boasted that
I had built my own CFC-based bean and CRUD cfcs, to give what I reckon is close
to a OOP style applicatoin in ColdFusion. It's a pretty
simple app, manipulating data on a table with only three fields, but I"m about
to roll out the same technique on some far more complex apps.
I'd be really obliged if someone knowledgeable in these techniques could
look at what I've done (it isnt much code to review) and help me be confident
that I'm on the right track. I'm finalising testing on some code
generation tools and some live apps, and I'd like someone else to have a look
and make sure I'm doing the right thing. It would be REALLY
annoying if I used what I thought was a sound practice and built a whole
lot of stuff, only to find out later I was wrong, and that I was off the mark.
It's not a lot of code, but would anyone who knows what it
ought to look like volunteer to look at my code for me and critique
it? If so, I"ll zip it up and email it to you, offline.
It's two CFCs, plus a couple of other files.
