Sean... you must have missed the post. Here is the full paragraph in an
exact quote.

"If someone can't raise a $5,000 credit line, it's probably not a good idea
that they start a business at all, and probably a worse idea that anyone
hire them."

Granted he said "probably"... but that was still stated. I was just
clarifying that the statement was in context with other statements made in
the same post that were rather absent minded that people are part of the
work force. We need to remember they are people. If we drive someone out of
business that is NOT a good thing. If we acquire a contract that is a good
thing.

Here is a quote of your translation...

" The opinion stated was that someone who couldn't raise $5k probably
couldn't get a business off the ground and make it successful. That
has nothing to do with hiring practices does it?"

Now I apologized for jumping your case... let's see if you will offer me the
same courtesy.

John

Wow! Talk about twisting people's words John!

No one said they "wouldn't hire someone because they had bad credit".
You're not reading what people are saying.

The opinion stated was that someone who couldn't raise $5k probably
couldn't get a business off the ground and make it successful. That
has nothing to do with hiring practices does it?
