In my case I am writing a method that takes a block of text in a specific format, parses it, and creates a structure from the data. This really isn't difficult to do by hand, but I already have a custom tag (CFX_CSVtoQuery) that can simplify it for me. Using the CFX tag means my method doesn't have to deal with reading the file, parsing it, dealing with bad rows, etc. ---------------------------------------------------------- You are subscribed to cfcdev.
