Typically this is handled by a "token" or "key" that is first obtained from the webservice (usually it's the result of an authentication call, e.g. webservice.login(username,password) returns a token). Then subsequent requests to that webservice include the token as one of the arguments, allowing the backend code to tie a "session" together.
