Oh - I didn't realise that you could specify more than one listener
for the same message.  So much to catch up on...  That's a cool
feature.

I do see your point more clearly now, however - I would still argue
that autowiring the controllers based on their names still wouldn't
really present a problem if you could override them with a manual
config.  If you have a very large application or one with several
controllers then you could either turn off autowiring with a config
parameter or just manually config the controllers.

Really, I'm just sick of typing so much stuff, and really hate
scrolling up and down my config.xml file constantly to change the
controller settings.  I'm a big fan of the way rails handles so much
of this by convention and am eager to see some of this make it's way
over to the world of CF frameworks.

I know you are afraid I will hang myself, but I still want more rope!
