Can you possibly expand on the differences between your 'high level needs',
and your 'low level needs'

I am assuming your low level needs would simply be the retrieval of objects,
saving them, getting list queries things like that? If that is the case,
I'm actually wondering what case is for the layer, except maybe to provide
an extra layer of abstraction, so can customise your low level needs as
required (which now that I think about it, make a certain amount of sense)

Obviously your high level needs would be more complicated. That being said,
I'm wondering what high level needs you have in your service objects, that
aren't provided by your Business Objects?

Or is it that your Business Objects are calling directly to Services to do
more complicated things, and that is what is required in your Service
layers?

Thanks for explaining all this,

Mark
