Hi Massimo, I like the database approach and it's one I've used. I consider it a pragmatic solution rather than a bone-fide pattern as you end up duplicating code :)
The Table Gateway pattern as I understand it is pretty much the same thing as the DAO pattern. Both can be used for multiple rows. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
