Hi Bob, your 2c is more than welcome :) What I'm finding is that the way I do things (and I see others doing it) is a pragmatic approach to OO in ColdFusion. What I would like to do in my presentation is show the classic patterns and then show the problems and the solutions that ColdFusion developers have come up with. I really want people (and myself included!) understand the various approaches and the pros and cons of each + work around methods. Too many people seem to think (and I did when I started out) that DAO and Gateway is the one true OO way.
