probably you should add processing of this attribute to function mergeDeclAttribute() in SemaDecl.cpp or something like this.

In icc this attribute is inherited.

Interestingly, I made this:

def AlignValue : InheritableAttr

but I suppose that does not do this?

Does y also carry the alignment assumption? As it stands in my
