Mangling is in the domain of IR generation, so John is the code owner I think. That said, both John and Doug can clearly OK such patches. John specifically indicated that he trusted Richard with clearing mangling patches, mostly because he trusted Richard to punt if it was confusing or tricky. I'm just trying to relay that info. =]
