These two patches are a simple of a series of 31 patches I have to
eliminate -Wcast-qual warnings from gcc. All 31 patches are in the
same spirit and I didn't want to flood the commits list with a lot of
redundancy.
Please have a look and let me know if they are ok or need fixing.
Once I get the ok I'll send all of them for someone to commit, as I
don't have commit access.
