Kay (@KHicketts ) and I would like to propose custom clang-tidy related attributes based on ideas from https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/pull/144313#issuecomment-3243355320 Because it has been a while since we had that discussion, we decided to put RFC content here before going to Clang Discourse, mainly to: - get general feedback on proposed functionality - get your opinion if it could be useful for your initiatives in other checks - understand if we need to extend current RFC with more content (this is our first experience of LLVM RFC process) Please take a look when you have time! @haoNoQ also suggested to indicate in RFC our commitments in terms of development and maintenance. We are not sure where to put it so I will put it in this message :) Kay and I are doing clang-tidy related work as a side project in scope of internal Bloomberg C++ community. We are able to contribute up to 20% of our weekly working time for it + I am spending some personal time if available. We are happy to lead RFC process + initial implementation in scope of `bugprone-unchecked-optional-access`, if accepted. We are also happy to test potential implementation internally to receive user feedback and find bugs or edge cases. Thank you in advance! P.S.
