Umm, isn't reverse engineering a no-no? :-)

Couldn't you use JS to achieve something like this?.... Use form buttons and
fields to adjust image sizes. Sorry I'm no js guru, more of a pretty
pictures dude with just enough cf to make me a little arrogant towards other
pretty picture people. That being said, I'm guessing someone on the list
could point you in the right direction, or try
