Did you guys know that Verisign actually owns Thawte
(http://www.thawte.com/corporate/corporatep.html)? So you're basically
getting the same product, just with a different brand name. Some people are
more comfortable with the Verisign brand than Thawte, as it is more commonly
known. Often, when considering a certificate purchase, this is an important
factor, as it will be used to enable online payments and your goal is to
make the customer feel comfortable about sending their payment information
over the net.

Bob

P.S. Verisign also owns Network Solutions as well
(http://corporate.verisign.com/investor/faqs/merger_faq.html).
