Hi gang.. in a previous email I mentioned that Telus supported SQLServer. A
couple of our clients were just sold services from Telus where they promised
Microsoft SQLServer support for Shared hosting. When we were ready to go...
it turns out they don't support SQLServer - their marketing arm is not in
communication with their technical arm. Its sad, really.

I apologize for letting you know that they do support this option. I wanted
to give a heads up to the group to let you know so you don't go the way of
our client with Telus.

On another note. WorldComm does support SQLServer and ColdFusion 5.0 as was
posted earlier this week. Not that I am endorsing one or another, honestly
I have never used Worldcomm, but at least they're honest with what they
provide..

Always remember, when you are choosing a hosting provider to always have a
meeting with their technical team to ensure your exact operating environment
is accomodated. I have seen it many times where sales is not in sync with
what is actually available.

kev.
