It's just not to their benefit to run a co-hosted environment simply from a cost point of view. I know that there are a lot of people out there who can't afford a co-location on their own. But, consider the power of getting a few people together to get a couple of rack mounting servers, a switch and a firewall and racking it up at a large scale farm like Telus. As long as you administer the box, Telus doesn't give a flying fish what servers run on it.
