Magma is ok. Jean-Pierre put a post to this group a while back saying
they are pretty good. I have yet to meet my version of 'great' tech
support, but they definitely beat my recent experiences with Bell.

I forgot to mention, I have created a local project and tried to do an
File -> Get external data from Magma too. I can download the stored
procedures (thank you XP, you can't do that with 2000) and table
structures, but I get no data. (I even checked the little copy data
flag too). It runs and says it is copying data, but when it finishes, I
have empty tables. Any ideas as to why that might be?

Dave

That is the normal state of affairs with MS SQL transfers.
Unfortunately, you then need to connect back into the DB and manually
set
your primary and foreign keys and most likely each table's data types.

This may very well be a result of using a dial up connection. Especially
on
a shared server, things really do get funky.

If you can, try connecting to the hosted db through your local MS SQL
Query
Analyzer.

Out of curiousity how is Magma's service?
