Hey -- I'm all for naming it (my preference: A little less geeky, a little more fun, preferably pronounceable). But can you say what it (the framework) is? CGI::Application + Plugins Templating System Module-based Extensible, scalable Database driven Simple, effective Best practices made practical Tried and true, mature > Django. > Ruby on Rails. > Catalyst. All three of these more of less dictate a way of doing things. CGI-App is more of a philosophy. (Am I mistaken?) If you can't say what is and what isn't in a "framework", then it's likely to devolve. (See LAMP. Used to mean Perl.) (I once worked with a lousy sales guy who looked at a company which he thought was successful, and observed that they had cool-looking t-shirts. He thusly concluded that if we had cool t-shirts, we would be successful. Let's not get the cart too far in front of the horse, folks.)
