I was going to ask a similar question. e.g. I have a bug fix for Bug
5785 <https://bugzilla.osafoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5785>, and I
had Byran review it. Can I check it in? Bryan approved the changes.
Additionally, since then, Mimi has given me two new icons and asked
me to space them out a bit. Should I check those changes in? Strictly
speaking, they don't fix any alpha 2 bugs..
Thanks,
Reid

The current plan is to stop alpha2 feature work on Monday, May 1st
(the final wx feature work is expected to land then). Beyond that
we still have some 60 bugs to fix before alpha2 is in the bag.
Once we announce the freeze is in effect, all code changes will
also require code review.
So May 1st has passed, but I haven't seen any freeze announcement.
Do we need code reviews now?
Alec
On a related note, we will postpone the landing of the background
sync work to alpha3.
