So in the life of a normal Chandler user, that doesn't always start with a fresh repository, the slow situations are extremely rare:
+ Switching between calendars + Activating/Deactivation calendars using checkboxes + Changing the view - going week to week or clicking on mini cal to go to a particular week
I do all of these things on a regular basis. I have 5 calendars in my sidebar and I definitely switch between them. Sometimes I need to add an event to the office calendar, other times to my personal work calendar. I am switching calendars a lot.
With 5 calendars in the sidebar, The screen is often over full with events -- even though I am running on large (1920 x 1440) monitor with an enlarged Chandler window -- so I am often activating and deactivating calendars using the checkboxes.
I also change the view regularly because the meetings are a week or two ahead of today's date.
In short, all three of these situations happen regularly for me. And they happen after I rerun Chandler, and they happen the second, third, and 10th time that I do them.
Additionally, double clicking to create an event is very slow, and I frequently find that I have created two events because I thought that the mouse didn't click or something like that.
I also find the the performance of syncinng (no surprise) is a usability barrier.
This is all from my experience with the Intel Mac build.

So, I would like you to respond to this message to let us know what the biggest performance issues are that are bothering you when you are using Chandler.
