I'm spelunking through bugs assigned to me, and ran into Bug 4401:
"Profiling from the test menu should capture more data".
From Grant's original description:
Currently, if you use the Start/Stop Profiling menu items to profile particular
operations in Chandler, we only profile CPIA event dispatch. This leaves off
time-consuming stuff like synchronizing blocks, wx event dispatch, etc. It
would be nice if this could be included.
Would tackling this bug be important or useful to anyone in the
alpha3/alpha4 timeframe? If so, any volunteers? If it sits in my queue
it will remain sadly neglected.
