Hi Ray,

Sorry you are having trouble with your Chandler install. The error you sent looks like the cryptic error you get when you don't drag the Chandler app out of the .dmg disk image. The instructions on the download page are:

>>Download to your desktop, double-click it, and it will unpack the Chandler application. >>Drag the Chandler application icon to your desktop or somewhere else on your file system.
>>Next, double-click the Chandler application icon.
>>(If you try to doubleclick on the Chandler icon without copying it from the .dmg disk image, Chandler will give you a cryptic error.)

We have made significant changes since the 0.6.1 release. My recommendation would be to download the newer 0.7alpha3 release from here:

Make sure you use the right download depending on whether you have an Intel mac or not. (If you don't know choose 'About this Mac' from the apple menu)

Let me know if you still have problems after trying this.

Thanks for trying Chandler

Dan

Hi Dan,

I honestly don't know if you are the right person to contact, but I just downloaded the end user binaries of v0.6.1 and it won't load. I'm running MAC OSX Tiger with latest patches. When I try to start it (it's in my applications folder) I get a long error message (well, the message is short but it gives bits of the stack) that I can't copy, so I've taken a screen shot:

If you aren't the right person to contact about this, could you please pass it on to the one who is, and hopefully give me an idea of how to get out of this? I encountered the same problem with the previous version, but was running a somewhat damaged version of panther, so I thought after upgrading to Tiger and to the new Chandler version things would run better, but it seems not.

Thanks,
