It works to stamp individual occurrences as tasks, but unstamping them
doesn't work well with the soon-to-be-obsoleted way we do sharing.
Grant mentioned a problem with occurrence stamping a few days ago but
I'm not sure what the problem is.
I had probably mentioned bug 7446, a problem with the way the
recurrence dialog interacts with unstamping. In general, though, I
wouldn't say the dust has settled on recurring events: there are
still sizable changes envisioned, mainly to deal with performance
issues.
