The p_win machine had been running for a few years without any real
maintenance, and was getting really slow. For example, last night just
launching Windows Explorer took from 5 to 10 seconds. I finally decided
enough is enough and see if there was anything to make it a little bit
faster.

I removed an Adobe startup item and some old Chandler and Mozilla
installations, and then defragmented the disk. After rebooting this
morning the machine has been really snappy.

You'll also notice a big difference in Chandler performance numbers. We
still didn't get all performance numbers below the acceptable limits, so
we actually do need to make some Chandler optimizations still ;)
