The only use case we know of is form feed (a.k.a. ^L or NP). I've
seen that in user-generated text (i.e. emails/calendar data), but I
guess it can be ditched.
Looking over the remaining Unicode control characters (U+0000 - U
+001F, U+007F - U+009F), I don't see anything that should end up in
text.
