The distclean is fine right now - we can make it more general sure.
The issue I had was I did not do a make puge so the tests were still finding the generate module but the tinderboxes do make clean distrib strip purge so it had been removed.
The failure they are seeing now is that the following unit tests still reference osaf.pim.generate:

So I wonder if the real problem is that distclean is not doing enough. Currently it does: distclean: rm -rf $(C_BIN)/$(SNAP) rm -f $(PLUGIN_INST)/*.egg-link rm -f $(PLUGIN_INST)/*.pth rm -rf $(C_HOME)/*-py$(PYTHON_VER).egg Should it be changed to this? distclean: rm -rf $(C_BIN)/$(SNAP) rm -rf $(PLUGIN_INST)/* rm -rf $(C_HOME)/*-py$(PYTHON_VER).egg -- Heikki Toivonen _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Open Source Applications Foundation "chandler-dev" mailing list http://lists.osafoundation.org/mailman/listinfo/chandler-dev
