And DateBk6 for Palm has carried on the tradition splendidly. With a bit of good fortune, hopefully one day Chandler will sync with it also.

it's reminiscent of good old DateBk5 for Palm, where each event had an 'advance' checkbox. Ticking it prompted the user for a 'number of days advance' figure. A separate 'floating event' was thus created, which was automatically deleted when the original event date arrived.
Sadly, I deserted the Palm platform a year ago, when they had managed to imbue their latest version of the OS with all the reliability of Windows 95. I headed for Windows Mobile, where the latest Mobile calendar won't sync with Vista calendar without the application of con$iderab£e effort. Thanks, Micro$oft. That's me - Betamax, Psion, HD DVD...

I'm presently running Chandler on an XP tablet and a Vista UMPC, both with excellent results (aside from the occasional issue when Chandler finds a 400-pixel-high screen a bit of a surprise).

Unfortunately, I've yet to find a way of accessing hub via mobile. Opera Mini freezes at the logon prompt, Minimo accepts the logon but then shuts down, BirdieSync via Lightning had problems with something at the hub end - never did find out what. As everything is otherwise working nicely, I don't want to start using intermediaries like Google calendar, just to get my diary where I would like it.

Looking forward to Chandler Mobile...

Keith
