Hi all, Thanks for building chandler. Noe that a stable release is around the corner I really believe it is time for having a look at packaging it for distributions.
Or am I missing something ? I have tried packaging it for openSUSE half a year ago but ran into problems with the JAVA part. I think building pylucene was the problem. I would like to have another go at building chandler on opensuse with native libraries and version such as SUN jdk. Do you envision any problems that may arise. The standalone version works well on opensuse. In GNUmed (medical pratice application) we use wxpython as well so I am considering using chandler as a scheduling application for patients.
