Hi all,
Thanks for building chandler. Noe that a stable release is around
the corner I
really believe it is time for having a look at packaging it for
distributions.
Or am I missing something ? I have tried packaging it for openSUSE
half a year
ago but ran into problems with the JAVA part. I think building
pylucene was
the problem.
I would like to have another go at building chandler on opensuse
with native
libraries and version such as SUN jdk. Do you envision any problems
that may
arise.
I don't expect any issues building PyLucene against a Sun JDK on 32 or
64-bit Linuxes.
Andi..
The standalone version works well on opensuse.
In GNUmed (medical pratice application) we use wxpython as well so I
am
considering using chandler as a scheduling application for patients.
Thanks a lot,
Sebastian
