I would be grateful if you'd try a package I've produced for Ubuntu, it is on my PPA (https://launchpad.net/~owenmorris/+archive/ppa). You'll need to do the following: sudo apt-add-repository ppa:owenmorris/ppa sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install chandler Or add ppa:owenmorris/ppa to software sources.
