Hi Yaw, I'm heading up the selection committee for W4A's Google Student Awards this year, and am hoping you'll pass along this email to any students you know working on accessibility (possibly to the change group?). The award provides up to $1200 to come to W4A (in Hyderabad this year), and is open to anyone working on web accessibility (broadly defined). We're especially looking for students from developing areas, and others who would be unable to attend otherwise. The application is due pretty soon (January 10th), but it's requirements are modest (500 word statement, and a letter from an advisor). There's more information here: http://www.w4a.info/2011/submissions/studentawards.shtml Thanks Jeff -- Jeffrey P.
