As part of its PTC Projects
initiative<http://trk.cp20.com/Tracking/t.c?7dur4-ftqui-sp6c9h6&_v=2>, PTC is
now accepting project proposals for 2014 from both PTC
members<http://trk.cp20.com/Tracking/t.c?7dur4-ftquj-sp6c9h7&_v=2> and
non-members.
The PTC Projects
initiative<http://trk.cp20.com/Tracking/t.c?7dur4-ftquk-sp6c9h8&_v=2> provides
both members and non-members the opportunity to develop and implement projects
that promote the use of telecommunications and ICT to improve the quality of
life in the Pacific Hemisphere.
Projects should involve the introduction and application of new methods,
processes, and/or technology solutions to address a defined
problem.Collaborative projects designed to solve practical problems are
particularly encouraged.
Proposals will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
· Feasibility of solutions and plan for execution
· Cost-benefit
· Sustainability and scalability
· Innovativeness
· Societal value
· Strengthen the PTC brand and visibility for the organization
· Clear deliverable/applicable results from the completed project
