https://github.com/chapel-lang/chapel/pull/3710 Vass - could you double check that the spec still looks reasonable and that it resolves the issue on a Linux system? (I've tested it to my satisfaction on Mac OS X). Joshua - it would be nice to know if this also solves the problem for you. If you are up for checking, you could manually apply the 1-line change in the PR and do make spec and then look at the file spec.pdf.
