Hello everyone
I came across the project *Try Chapel Online * project under the
Compatibility section on [1]. I would like to take this project forward and
create an online text editor + code runner for the Chapel language. The
code runner would execute programs in a *safe *environment.
I have some ideas regarding how to proceed for this challenge and would
like to discuss them. I have worked on a similar project before as well
therefore I have an idea of the roadmap this project would take.
As for some introduction,
1. I am a second year student at Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee
(IIT Roorkee) in Electronics and Communication engineering.
2. I work as developer in a campus group SDSLabs [2] and admin of
Backdoor [3]. Most of my humble experience comes from coding for SDSLabs.
3. I am fluent in python, javascript and comfortable in writing php,
java, and a some C++ as well.
I have a blog at my personal website [4] where I write frequently about my
experiences with software development. My github profile [5].
This is the first time I am participating in GSoC and given that this
project is very well aligned with my interest, I would like to work on it.
I go by the name *tocttou* on IRC.
Waiting for your response!
