I had a horrible rat problem in the back yard several years ago. When the city began its recycling program, I got serious and bought trashcans with lids for garbage and recycling containers. That cut way back. I'm sure you already cover trash, but those who don't should seriously consider putting lids on trashcans. Mice? I'd like some ideas too.
