I thought the 'Dell' was the Wyman Park, the park across from the museum.

Wyman Park Restaurant for breakfast and a morning of newspaper

You are right about the name, Emil. I agree that it is
a Baltimore institution, but it isn't a deli at all. The lunch
counter at The New Wyman Park Restaurant will you remind
of the soda fountains that many of the Read's drug stores
and five-and-dimes around town had. And it was not unusual
to see some of Baltimore's old school politicians, both saints
and sinners, holding court in the booths.
