Hi all,
Some of you will remember Images, a favorite meeting place with
coffee, greeting cards, gifts, and its successor in the now-demolished
block, which included flowers and stationery. Alice Brock and her
daughter Martie ran the stores, and I sorely miss their convenience
and wonderful inventories. News to share with AIA members, perhaps,
is that Martie is back in Charles Village, currently in the space
previously occupied by the ice cream shop, on the corner near Carma's.
It's called Charles Village Bouquets. Martie is taking orders for
arrangements, as well as selling loose flowers. I think the hours are
10-6 Wed-Sat, 10-4 Sun, closed Mon & Tues.
