Ken,

I was able to download and install Readability to Safari (was not
successful in installing in Chrome wherein I was reading a long article
typical of my reads from Delanceyplace.com).

I then tried NYTimes.com and clicked on the newly appeared Read Now button,
but was actually put off by the result because the page layout for the
headlines of NYTimes is just right for me to scan, because I only read the
headlines usually, not being a subscriber. And when I went to a particular
NYTimes and an Atlantic article -- both opened without Readability -- and
then clicked on the Read Now button, nothing happened. So that was
disappointing.

Reading some of the info at Readability, it looks like in order to get
narrower rows would require changing the font size, and that is Ok, but I
did not try that.

So, thanks , but Readability does not work well for me (yet?).
