On my tablet I have become accustomed to using a stylus and not pinching. I
like the idea of a fingerprint-less screen for some reason. I think it
started when I was using a stylus to write on the tablet because it was
easier. So pinching does not work well for me. I do use double tapping when
it is available, though.

I am not sure I understand your strategy on the computer. Are you saying
that when you select a part of a paragraph, somehow that reduces your
tendency to read in another paragraph part? If so, that is not an issue for
me. I am more like Don in having trouble finding the next line quickly,
sometimes -- not the next paragraph.

Again, wait ...

Actually I read your message to mention *whole* paragraph, not parts, at
first. I'll experiment some with your part paragraphs and see if that helps
me, too.
