Thanks Devon, I am using a Macbook Pro, so my tools are Apple oriented.
I start by writing crazy amounts of flow of consciousness to see if there are nuggets in the mud. Then I use Keynote, especially the object animation aspects to do most of the visuals. Each line pair in that presentation is a slide, so in all that video is 5 slides including the wrap-up. Then I record the voice-overs using Quicktime and attach the trimmed down files to the individual slides. This gives me the most latitude in shaping the final product (even to the point of reordering if necessary). When all the timing is done, then I import into iMovie (just because youtube does not seem to like straight .mov files unless they are exported by iMovie). I think that is about it, if anyone wants more details feel free to ask. I don't claim that this is the best way, but it works for me when I buckle down and get to work. :) Cheers, bob On Mar 2, 2014, at 3:56 PM, Devon McCormick <[email protected]> wrote: > It's a good start.
