That's probably worth studying, as an artifact of what maintainable code looks like. The underlying feat (putting people on the moon) has not been equaled since then. That said, it's quite possible that modern computational artifacts (such as video codecs, or whatever) are comparably readable (or unreadable - depending on the patience and interests of the reader).
