A recent message sent to the I2P developers form. This sounds like an excellent alternitave to pay pal, as it would be secure and allow anonymous contributors.
---------- Forwarded Message ---------- Subject: [i2p] NeuClear and i2p = anonymous payments? Date: Monday 24 May 2004 05:19 pm From: Pelle Braendgaard <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I'm the lead developer for http://neuclear.org We are rolling out an open source framework for payments and exchange transactions. While we've mainly been worried about getting the core technology working first, it has always been the plan to eventually integrate it with some kind of anonymous p2p type technology, to provide not just anonymous payments, but also anonymous servers. I've just come across i2p and it sounds very interesting. Not knowing anything except whats on the web site, it sounds like it should be relatively easy to integrate. NeuClear uses a RSA public keypair as it's account unit. Your account works across all flavors of assets within NeuClear. It is also written in Java like i2p. Now we have a Java Web Start client app: http://dist.neuclear.org/app/neuclear-signer.jnlp We could easily add a few extra jars and the router etc to this. So people wouldn't have to download anything extra for it to work. (I guess). Anyway just a heads up that we are exploring this. Any comments? please let me know. -P -- ======================================================================== http://talk.org Geek in Panama http://neuclear.org Clear it both ways _______________________________________________ i2p mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://i2p.dnsalias.net/mailman/listinfo/i2p ------------------------------------------------------- _______________________________________________ chat mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://news.gmane.org/gmane.network.freenet.general
