i think we have a large problem with the starting points/bookmarks that are used on standard installations.
some of us are interessted to help promote freenet. In my case i have larger mailling lists and websites available to "advertise" for freenet or write about it. But how should any of my readers understand that on the frontpages are links that lead also towards childp...? While I understand it is only there to represent the complete uncensored idea and freedom of speech, noone thats not involved or new will not understand this the same way, and i also do not agree with this kind of freedom of speech. While warez and other illegal things are tolerated, this is not tolerated, even if i know the idea of freedom, i also do not tolerate it, ill find it highly offensive to myself and i do not want to get in contact with it What does freedom of speech mean? in the view to not censor it on the frontpages, freedom of speak is isolated to itself, but freedom of speach is only "part" of freedom. And me and the most people think, that freedom is the right to be as free as no others freedom gets destroyed. And we all know that the chil.. destroys not only the freedom, it destroys complete lifes. I cant and i will not accept that making links to this kind of freesites are made on the starting points, this is not freedom, this is making the good idea a bad thing. Anybody can publish anything on freenet, thats enough to enable the idea of free speach, there is no need to have starting points with all kind of offensive things. Every freesite can be published thru frost, there is this way to publish every freesite to other peoples and attract people to view this freesites. can we have a starting point, where the true ideas of freedom and not freedom of speach as itself is represented? sven _______________________________________________ Devl mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://dodo.freenetproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/devl _______________________________________________ chat mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://news.gmane.org/gmane.network.freenet.general
