I'm not sure you can. What I mean is, I'm not sure you can instantaneously enlighten someone by a convincing argument-- unless they're interested in the topic already. But, if you can get people interested in the net as a new world of freedom and collaboration, something that they can be a part of, rather than simply consume, then they will get behind the fight against control/repression/censorship/etc. People need to find themselves as a *part* of your paradigm shift, not just being told about it-- and the people who have something to say and want to publish it need to realize the freedoms of the net, and the threats against it. I think music is an important area in which to spread the world and finght the battles-- as well as the other arts (visual, literary, cinematic...) independent musicians, young artists...
