I didn't work with Internet Explorer at all during that process, to my
knowledge. I was trying to switch the association from PHP Edit to
Firefox. At some point *both* those applications had their path show up
in the same field, denoting which software should handle documents of
the .htm file type.
 
This seems to be a good time to mention how glad I am that J is
supported on Linux. I've decided that I must switch to Linux, soon, due
to a wide range of problems that leave me unwilling to continue to have
Microsoft be the provider of my operating system. If the J development
environment was not available for Linux, I would not make that move.
