Hehehe. Yep. eeePC is sooo cute (had to translate kawaii ... for people who don't watch naruto/or any Japanese anime ... teeeheee).
I just gave my wife a call and she tells me that she's sitting on one since one of the managers in the factory bought the 20GB eee PC 900 series without realizing that its Linux. The guy wants the IT department to install WindowsXP and a lot of stuff on it. The problem is that their only external CD/DVD drive is currently broken since somebody did a 20 in 1 DVD Korean movie marathon. Not to mention the drivers hunt for windows. Hey! Does anybody have experience using the ASUS eeePC ... windows or linux version? I am actually wondering if a terminal can be opened in the linux version to run ./jwd Hmmmm. I guess it would take some convincing for my wife to get me one since she still haven't bought me a new bike (Yamaha XJR 400cc) and currently letting me suffer on my daily 75KM commute with a 150cc scooter <http://www.motorstar.com.ph/modeldetail.asp?ModelID=39&CategoryID=2>. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of bill lam Sent: Wednesday, May 07, 2008 2:00 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Jchat] Obit > I few years back ...
