We just got a project to make an ERP system for a laptop bag company. Unfortunately, during the design phase, J got cut-out (which means I got cut out). The main argument was the support for Simplified Chinese characters. This will be the first time that our company would be building a 100% Simplified Chinese application. I do hope the getB() and setB() functions get the Unicode love soon. Right now I'm thinking of working around this by writing the Unicode strings to be sent to J to a text file first and sending the filename to J and do the same thing with data from J to C#. There would be an overhead though (converting array to CSV strings, writing to file, reading file, converting CSV to array) which is something that is avoided with the getB() and setB() functions. r/Alex ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
