In my opinion, your current specification covers way too much
ground to be implementable.  Some questions which might
help include:

Are you interested in culling?  In adjusting model coordinate
systems?  In adjusting color levels?

What sort of representation of the 3D system are you working
with?  (Something aimed at a graphics card?  Something aimed
at ray tracing?  Something aimed at a CAD/CAM system?  Conic
sections?  Something generated by a motion capture system?
...)

How can you tell when you have stitched your 3D blocks
correctly?  Why do they even need to be stitched?
