This is a good point.  I once took my laptop on a visit to someone I thought
I might be able to interest in APL but, after I got there, I realized how
hopeless it was to even show him anything as there were no keystickers on my
keyboard.  I would have been magically making characters appear in a way
that he would find difficult to do on his own.
