I'm open to correction on this, but it looks to me that J can be a poor fit in circumstances where the user is not to be entrusted with the computer. The power of the language is not readily constrained. If the destruction of data on the machine would be a big problem for somebody other than the people who are given access to it, some other language may serve better.
